Rosewood AMAALA Opens: What Travellers Need to Know About Saudi Arabia’s New Red Sea Resort

Rosewood AMAALA is now open in Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast, with 110 private-pool villas, Asaya wellness, eight dining venues and multiple arrival options.
Rosewood AMAALA is now accepting guests. The resort opened on 18 August 2026 in Triple Bay, part of the developing AMAALA destination on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast. It is Rosewood’s first resort in Saudi Arabia.
The 40-hectare property has 110 pool villas, including one- and two-bedroom configurations. The accommodation ranges from 110-square-metre private-pool villas to 180-square-metre two-bedroom villas, while Asaya Lodge provides a separate wellness-focused stay option. Architecture is by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, with interiors by Tristan Auer.
Wellness is a central part of the resort rather than a separate spa facility. Asaya includes treatment pavilions, hammam and hydrotherapy facilities, movement studios, fitness areas and two natural rock pools fed by the Red Sea. The resort also has a private beach with a coral reef offshore, alongside snorkelling, diving, seabob and non-motorised watersports.
Dining currently spans eight venues and lounges, including Saha for Middle Eastern cuisine, Olea for Mediterranean cooking, The Grill Bar & Restaurant and Asaya Lounge. Puro Cove Club is listed as opening soon, so it should not yet be counted as an operating venue.
For international travellers, Rosewood AMAALA can be reached through Red Sea International Airport or Al Wajh International Airport, with transfers coordinated through Red Sea Global Mobility. Private aviation, seaplane and marina arrivals are also available. Current rates published by Rosewood start from SAR 4,000 per night.
The distinction from a conventional Red Sea resort is its villa-led format and the integration of wellness, marine activities and destination infrastructure from the outset. AMAALA itself remains under development, with additional resorts and facilities planned for later phases.
