Turkey’s superyacht sector has a new name to watch. Orion Yachts has delivered Orion One, its first superyacht, ahead of the yacht’s presentation at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Measuring approximately 44 metres with a reported volume of 480 GT, Orion One marks Orion Yachts’ entry into the 40-metre-plus market. The yacht’s exterior and interior design come from RED Yacht Design, while naval architecture was developed by Alfa Marine Design.

The project is particularly relevant because it moves Orion Yachts beyond the project stage and into the completed-yacht market. For an emerging builder, a delivered vessel provides a tangible reference for prospective owners and brokers assessing Turkey’s growing superyacht construction sector.
At Cannes, Orion One is reportedly being presented with an asking price of €22 million. This figure refers to the asking price and should not be interpreted as a confirmed sale value.
The yacht’s debut comes at a time when Turkish shipyards are gaining greater visibility in the international 40-metre-plus market. Orion One therefore has significance beyond its size: it represents the first completed project from a new builder seeking a position among established European superyacht yards.

For owners and charter clients following the next generation of yacht builders, Orion One yacht provides an early indication of what Orion Yachts intends to bring to the market.
