Berlin’s KaDeWe is adding a dedicated wellness and longevity space to its retail offer this September, with Recover Society opening its largest location to date on the department store’s fourth floor. The new floor brings together wellness, fitness, recovery and prevention within the existing retail environment.

Recover Society Berlin is divided into four areas. The Biohacking Area lists hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), red-light therapy, and cold and heat applications. Medical Spaces are planned for personalised services in longevity medicine and aesthetics, developed with partner physicians. Smart Retail brings together supplements, diagnostic kits and selected health products, while the Social Space, developed with Space Available, is dedicated to breathwork, sound and community formats.

For diagnostics and telemedicine, Recover Society names neotes as its Berlin partner. Space Available is responsible for the social component. The company describes the concept as neither a conventional spa nor a medical clinic, but a combination of recovery treatments, diagnostics, retail and community activities.

There is one important qualification at launch: Recover Society’s current Berlin page does not yet publish a definitive treatment menu or booking schedule for opening day. It states that subscribers will receive information on which treatments will be available at launch and how appointments can be booked. The technologies listed above therefore describe the announced concept rather than a confirmed opening-day menu.

The model places wellness directly within one of Berlin’s established department stores, making recovery and health services part of a retail visit rather than a separate spa or clinic appointment.
