On 8 November, Four Seasons I will leave Las Palmas in Gran Canaria for an eight-night Atlantic crossing to Philipsburg, Sint Maarten. After a day in La Palma, the yacht spends six consecutive days at sea — the setting for a new collaboration between Four Seasons Yachts and the Austrian medical-wellness group Lanserhof.

Called The Lanserhof Reset, the programme changes the rhythm of a conventional crossing. Rather than filling sea days with a succession of excursions, guests can organise them around movement, consultations, recovery and long stretches without a port schedule.

Some elements are included for everyone on board: daily talks and Q&A sessions with Lanserhof specialists, group fitness and holistic-wellness classes, access to doctors, nutritionists, trainers and practitioners during designated hours, and selected dishes influenced by Lanserhof’s Energy Cuisine approach. A daily chlorophyll drink is also part of the programme.

Guests wanting a more structured schedule can add an eight-day personalised programme for $5,000 per person, subject to limited capacity. It begins with a 60-minute physician consultation and may include individual nutrition recommendations, fitness programming, craniosacral and therapeutic treatments, aesthetic-wellness sessions and a follow-up consultation. The final appointment provides recommendations intended to continue after the voyage.

The schedule also makes use of L’Oceana Spa, Four Seasons I’s existing wellness facilities. These include a hammam and thermal circuit, alongside cryotherapy, infrared therapy, hydrotherapy and other recovery treatments. They are better understood here as components of the onboard spa and recovery programme rather than as treatments proven to extend lifespan.

Accommodation is entirely in suites. The standard Seaview categories measure around 473 square feet, with private terraces, while larger residences extend considerably beyond that. Current Four Seasons pages still display fares from approximately $18,800 per suite for a Seaview Mid Suite and $37,000 per suite for an Ocean Suite. However, the main voyage page currently marks the listed suite categories as waitlist only, so both price and availability should be confirmed directly before booking.

No individual Lanserhof physicians have yet been named in the published programme. What has been confirmed is the presence of Lanserhof doctors, nutritionists, trainers and holistic practitioners throughout designated parts of the crossing.

For travellers who already structure holidays around wellness, the appeal is straightforward: the programme does not require a separate stay at a medical resort. For six uninterrupted days at sea, the Atlantic crossing itself provides the timetable.
