Art Basel Paris 2026 returns to the Grand Palais from 23–25 October, with preview days on 21–22 October and an expanded public programme extending into Paris institutions and public spaces.
Art Basel Paris 2026 at the Grand Palais
In October, Paris becomes the setting for the fifth edition of Art Basel Paris, running at the Grand Palais from 23–25 October 2026. Preview Days take place on 21 and 22 October, with the public Vernissage scheduled for 22 October. The 2026 edition is the first under Director Karim Crippa.
The fair brings together 211 galleries from 41 countries and territories, divided across the Galeries, Emergence and Premise sectors. Nearly 30 galleries are participating for the first time, while Premise moves into the larger Salon Seine, giving the historically focused sector three additional presentations compared with 2025.
For an international visitor, however, the fair is only one part of the October itinerary. Art Basel Paris is extending its Public Programme around the Grand Palais and into other Paris locations. The 2026 programme includes presentations at the Petit Palais, Cité de l’architecture & du patrimoine, Palais d’Iéna, École des Beaux-Arts and the Parvis des Droits de l’Homme, among other sites.
This wider programme changes how Art Basel Paris can be approached: rather than scheduling the Grand Palais as a single destination, visitors can build several days around exhibitions, installations and institutional projects across the city.
For Art Basel Paris October 2026, public access to the fair runs from 23–25 October, 11:00–19:00. Day tickets are currently listed at €47, with reduced tickets available for eligible visitors.
For readers planning a Paris art trip, the dates make the fair particularly relevant as an anchor for a wider programme of museum and institutional visits.
