Airelles Le Guanahani St Barth will open on 1 November 2026, following Rosewood’s departure from the long-standing St Barth resort one month earlier.
Rosewood will conclude its management of Le Guanahani St Barth on 1 October 2026 as the property transitions to new ownership and a new operator. Airelles has confirmed that the resort will reopen as Airelles Le Guanahani on 1 November, marking the French group’s first property in the Caribbean.
The resort occupies an 18-acre peninsula at Grand Cul-de-Sac, with 66 rooms, suites and villas. Its scale and position between the lagoon and Marigot Bay remain central to the property’s appeal.
The ownership change is separate from the management transition: Rosewood is leaving as operator, while the property is moving to new ownership associated with Stéphane Courbit’s LOV Group and the Airelles collection.
Airelles has already published the new dining and wellness programme. La Table du Guanahani will be the principal restaurant, alongside The Pélican, Pool Bar and Library Bar. The new Airelles Spa will operate with Laboratoires Botanique Avancée, while the property retains its two beaches and two pools.
For existing guests, Rosewood states that reservations remain confirmed, with existing rates and booking terms continuing to apply. Reservations made after 30 September will be managed by the new operator.
