Born on January 7, 1985, in Hertfordshire, England, Hamilton made his debut in Formula 1 in 2007 driving for McLaren, finishing runner-up by just a point behind Kimi Räikkönen. Hamilton’s career began with a blaze, setting numerous records from the start, beginning with being the first black racer. He won his maiden title in his second year, becoming the then-youngest F1 World Champion.

Hamilton joined hands with Mercedes in 2013, going on to become the driver with the most career wins – 103, pole positions – 104, podium finishes – 197, and the joint record-holder of seven World Championship titles with Michael Schumacher. The British racer has an endless list of achievements including most wins with the same team – 82, most wins at the same Grand Prix – 8 – at the Hungarian and British Grand Prix, and most wins from pole position – 62, among several others.
