Monaco National Day: what to see and where to go?

Monaco will celebrate the National Day

November 19 is also known as the Day of the Sovereign Prince. This holiday has been celebrated since 1857, and this year, of course, is no exception. For this festive day, the Town Hall of Monaco has already taken care of every resident of the Principality, and announced free events that would be great for both adults and kids.

Beatbox Show for kids in Monte-Carlo

On Wednesday, November 9 at 3:00 pm, Oggy and the Cockroaches film screening for children aged 5 and over will take place at Espace Léo Ferré. Two beatboxing champions, Loopstation SARO and Alexinho, will provide a reimagined cartoon soundtrack. They will offer a unique journey of music, mouth sounds and humor in the world of Oggy, an anthropomorphic blue cat with a clown nose, constantly bullied by three cockroaches.

Drone show over the palace in Monte-Carlo

On Friday, November 18, at 20:00, 200 luminous drones will fly over the skies of Monaco. The 12-minute show, staged by MC-Clic, will take place over the Prince's Palace, accompanied by atmosperic music.

Сomedy musical in Monte-Carlo

Shortly thereafter, on the same day as a drone show, at 21:00, Espace Léo Ferré will host Les Franglaises. The troupe will perform a spiritual musical comedy with some of the greatest English hits translated into French.

Concerto for cello and violin in Monte-Carlo

The final note of the National Holiday will be the concert of the sisters Camille and Julie Berthollet on November 19 at 18:00. For their performance, they will reimagine "the fascinating world of yesterday's and today's series through the most beautiful musical themes" on violin and cello.

Everyone who wants to get to the events must apply for invitations at Espace Léo Ferré, where, upon presentation of an identity card, a resident card or a family book for resident children, one will receive their tickets.
