The Loewe Foundation announces the 30 artists shortlisted for the 2025 edition of its coveted Craft Prize. The finalists’ works will be exhibited at Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum in Madrid from 30 May 2025.
The prize is designed to recognize artisans who combine traditional techniques with cutting-edge innovation, creating works that stand out for their creativity, technical mastery, and artistic vision.
The shortlisted pieces were selected by a panel of experts, including a host of previous Craft Prize finalists who benefit from having been through the process themselves, alongside an veritable art-world who’s who. From here, a team of judges headed up by Jonathan Anderson will pick the winning entries. The overall winner will receive €50,000.
